MY TROUSSEAU FOR THE WEDDING FUNCTIONS
Its quite a task to find the perfect outfit for all the functions...I too managed somehow...
Engagement & Sagan Ceremony
To start with, the first function was Engagement & Sagan Ceremony, held on May 22, 2015. I chose to wear a Lehenga with a long choli. A very well designed piece by my friend Aditi Kapoor..Makeup by Ambika Pillai
Mehendi Ceremony
For my mehendi ceremony I chose mint green colour lehenga and choli with gota patti work. The function was held on May 23, 2015. The outfit was purchased from a very well known showroom Ushnak Mall Mool Chand in South Extension market, South Delhi.

Chooda Ceremony
Chooda ceremony is nothing but when a bride wears the chooda (red bangles) on her wedding day and continues wearing it for one year. This day the outfit is send by the Inlaws of the bride. Mine was purchased from a very well known market of Shahpur Jatt. This is a market in Delhi where all the upcoming designers have their workshops and shops.
Wedding Ceremony
WEDDING CEREMONY: the most awaited day in a girls life...!!! Mine was as special as every girl could imagine..it came too soon and went too soon...I was married on May 24, 2015. As my wedding was in the gurudwara, I chose to wear an anarkali suit. This was purchased from Shahpur Jatt from one of the designer and further enhanced in the designing aspect. This took 2 months to complete. Makeup by Ambika Pillai
I chose all pastels colours for my wedding functions as it was a summery weather and pastels look more soothing :)
